betPawa’s Win BIG, Give Back initiative has given recent BIG winners up to GH¢60,000 extra to dedicate to any local cause of their choosing. Discover how they’ve given back and why…

It’s not just individuals but communities that win BIG on betPawa thanks to the Win BIG, Give Back initiative.

For the first few months of 2022, betPawa are matching what selected BIG winners win up to GH¢60,000. Those winners then pick a cause close to their heart to support with that money.

The Ashanti Region resident bet GH¢5 on 24 legs, with his GH¢4,050.59 winnings more than doubled to GH¢9,726.41 by a 140% betPawa Win Bonus. betPawa gave him another GH¢9,726.41 for a local initiative. He decided to buy equipment for his town’s Community Farmers Association.

Frank explained: “It will help a lot of people to be able to participate whenever we organise communal labour. There will be high productivity in terms of the farming activities we engage in. It is a blessing to be able to give back to a community, especially where you hail from.”

Ali placed a GH¢1 Virtuals bet on 9 legs and won GH¢19,965.52, including a 30% betPawa Win Bonus. The Kasoa New Bortianor resident received a further GH¢19,965.52 to Give Back and chose to construct a borehole due to a water crisis in his area.

He said: “I would like to help relieve them from the pain that we are going through in terms of potable water unavailability. This will help my community to improve their living standard, and it is an honour to help my community.”

The Central Region resident bet GH¢3 on 7 legs and won GH¢16,052.62, achieving a 20% betPawa Win Bonus. He dedicated his additional GH¢16,052.62 Give Back prize to bringing clean water to his community by drilling a borehole.

He said: “Getting good water for people will be a great achievement for me. It is a privilege to get a chance to give back. It will remain as a blueprint for years to come and community members will still remember what we did for them.”

Abdulai

The electrical engineer bet GH¢2 on 15 legs and won GH¢25,266.60, helped by a 60% betPawa Win Bonus. He’d been generous with his winnings even before getting another GH¢45,000 to give back, so he knew he wanted to support a dialysis patient waiting on a kidney transplant.

He explained: “I want to put a smile on the faces of the sick and make them feel that there are people who care for them. It is my joy to see people getting back to their feet once again.”
