16 Ghanaians are realising their dreams right now with the help of betPawa’s Dream Maker.
We toured the country in the Dream Bus, encouraging people everywhere to share their dreams. All entries were carefully reviewed and the most inspiring ones are being brought to life.
Ruben and Jordan are fulfilling similarly powerful dreams in the Volta Region and Upper East Region to construct boreholes to provide their communities with clean drinking water.
Ruben said: “My community will always remember this dream betPawa is making it come true for us. This is going to serve the whole community and it will be there for generations to come.”
Jordan wanted to deliver a dream that helped as many people as possible. “What my community is going through right now is more important than whatever dream I had for myself,” he explained.
Sylvester in the Central Region hopes to protect the environment and prevent food shortages by expanding his bee-farming business from 14 hives to 100. He said: “If every company in Ghana is like betPawa, I think Ghana will be a beautiful country.”
Matilda in Accra is excited to be launching a fashion house, which will also create employment opportunities, saying: “I am grateful to betPawa for giving me this Pawa to make my dream come true.”
The Dream Maker’s work didn’t stop there, with a further 12 dreams being chosen:
-> Abugbilla: providing kits and equipment for his U12 football team
